Edward Clifford, Jr., 67, of Beatty Road, Waverly, died 2:27 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at his residence. He was born May 1, 1934, in Waverly. He was preceded in death by his wife Josephine Sturgell Clifford. He was a retired construction heavy equipment operator. Two sons and a daughter survive.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Boyer Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Latham Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.
