Mullins, Sanford, N.C.; two grandchildren, Matthew Tyler Pierce and Brandon Todd Malone; mother, Juanita Clifton Kilgore, Kingsport; two brothers, Clifton David Whittaker and wife Phyllis, Clarksville, Tenn., and Gary Vaughn Kilgore and wife Judy, Big Stone Gap, Va.; two sisters, Greta K. Berglund, Rockford, Ill., and Jill Janette Pittman and husband Jerry, Sanford, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
