He was a retired chief mechanical engineer at Wolf Creek Dam and was a member of Grider's Chapel United Methodist Church.

•His wife: Linda Earlene York Coffey, Jamestown, KY

•Two children: Donna Annette Coffey, Danville, KY; and Dale (Lisa) Coffey, Danville, KY

•Seven grandchildren: Ryan Coffey, Kelsey Coffey, Dakota Gore, Cody Coffey, Zachary Coffey, Nikki Coffey, and Cheyenne Gore

•Four sisters: Carol Newcom, Mary Downey, Kathy Weston, all of Jamestown, KY; Sherlon Shearer, Louisville, KY

•Three brothers: Roger Coffey, Ralph Coffey, Randall Coffey, all of Jamestown, KY

Funeral services for Marshall Lawrence Coffey will be 1pmCT, Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Rod Lawless and Bro. Barry Bradshaw officiating. Friends may call after 5pmCT, Wednesday. Burial in the Samuel York Memorial Gardens in Jamestown, KY.
