Blanche L. Geesey, 91, formerly of Dallastown, died Wednesday, November 16, 2005, in Pleasant Acres Home.
Born January 22, 1914, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Lydia E. 'Bessie' (Miller) Miller.
Blanche was employed with Yorktown Kitchens for twenty-six years before retiring in 1979.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Dallastown.
Blanche also was a member of the Dallastown Golden Age Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Marlet W. Geesey who died June 20, 1993; her daughter: Linda C. Washington; and, a brother: Robert C. Miller.
Surviving Blanche are her daughters: Marilyn E. Kern of York and Joan L. Klingenmaier of York; her son: Donald L. Geesey of Dover; her eleven grandchildren; her thirteen great-grandchildren; and, great-great-granddaughter.
Viewings will be held Friday, November 18, 2005 from 06:00 to 08:00 PM in the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 W. Main Street, Dallastown and from 10:00 AM until the time of the service Saturday in the church.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2005 in Christ Lutheran Church, 126 W. Main Street, Dallastown with the Rev. Lawrence Cunnings officiating.
Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
