He was born in Dallastown, the son of the late Noah and Annie (Keller) Geesey.
Marlet married Blanche Louise Miller on 06 Jun 1936 in Christ Lutheran Church, Dallastown.
He was employed as a Finisher for twenty-five years with the Red Lion Cabinet Company. He retired in 1980 after nineteen years as a Repairman with the Cole Steel Company, York.
Marlet was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
He belonged to Rescue Fire Company and the Golden Age Club of Dallastown.
Surviving Marlet are his wife: Blanche L. (Miller) Geesey; his daughters: Marilyn E. Kern and Joan L. Klingemaier, both of York and Linda C. Washington, of Baltimore, Maryland; his son: Donald L. Geesey of Dover; his eleven grandchildren; his three step-grandchildren; his six great-grandchildren; and, his eight step-great-grandchildren.
