French Nobility. Countess of Forcalquier. Born around 1180 as the only child of Rainier de Sabran, lord of Caylar and Ansouis, and Garsende de Forcalquier. She married Alphonse II Berenguer of Provence in July 1193 and bore him two children, Raimond and Garsenda, who married Guillermo II de Montcada. In 1209 she inherited Forcalquier from her grandfather Guillaume IV. She was widowed in the same year and became guardian of her son. Around 1225 she retired to the Abbaye de La Celle where she died after 1242.
