Cynthia A. "Cindy" (Davis) Mayberry, 55, Harrisburg, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Monday, January 16, 2006, at Select Medical, Holy Spirit Hospital. She was born May 16, 1950 in Sunbury, daughter of Lawrence and Dollie (Witmer) Davis of Lady Lake, FL; and was a 1968 graduate of Central Dauphin High School. Cindy had been an employee of Fox's Market on Union Deposit Road, and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Mostly, she will be remembered as kind, caring and selfless. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her 2 sons, Michael S. (and his wife, Brenda D.) Mayberry and Douglas S. (and his wife, Jill S.) Mayberry, all of Harrisburg; 2 brothers, Michael (and his wife, Sherrine) Davis of Gilbertsville, PA, and Dennis (and his wife, Mary) Davis of Morrison, CO; 3 sisters, Sandra Davis of Folsom, CA, Susan (and her husband, Dennis) Rudisill of Harrisburg and Christine (and her husband, Michael) Gill of DeBary, FL; 3 grandchildren, Kyle, Alyssa and Rebecca; and 7 nieces and nephews. She will also be greatly missed by many friends. Memorial service Friday, January 20, in her church, Harrisburg, Rev. Dr. S. Ronald Parks officiating. Burial at the convenience of the family at Shoop's Garden of Rest. [Harrisburg Patriot-News]
