Simpkins, Rita Ann Goad (Dissy), 59, of Radford, VA passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014. She was preceded in death by a sister, Verona Yates.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Simpkins, Son, Eugene Stigger, parents, Nomia and Wiley Goad, sisters, Selena and Raymond East, Cindy and Larry Fender, and Monica and Earl Lawrence, brother-in-law Larry Yates, and many special nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 26, 2014 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the. The funeral service will be conducted at the New Hope Church of God on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11:00 am with Pastor T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
