Funeral services for Katherine Faye Prudhomme will be held on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at 11:00am at the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas. Rev. Vinson Tullos will conduct the services. The interment will take place at Bellevue Memorial Park.
Ms. Prudhomme, age 65, a resident of Opelousas, died on Saturday May 24, 2014 at her residence. She was a retired beautician, mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was also a member of the Opelousas Bible Church.
She is survived by her mother; Josephine Doucet Prudhomme of Opelousas, sons; Kevin Prudhomme and wife Sheila of Arnaudville, Jared Prudhomme and wife Jamie of Arnaudville, brothers; Donald W. Prudhomme of Prairie Ronde, Linn Prudhomme of Opelousas and Carl Prudhomme of Port Barre, brother in law; Charles "Chuck" Guidry of Opelousas and six grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her father; Abel Prudhomme, sister; Mildred P. Guidry and a grandson; Gabriel Prudhomme.
The family has requested visitation be held on Monday May 26, 2014 from 11:00am until 10:00pm and will reopen on Tuesday from 8:00am until time of services.
Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home/Opelousas, Louisiana was in charge of services.
