Riley Ream, a well known and respected farmer, was born in Van Burn township, Hancock county, O., September 6, 1855, and died at his late home near New Stark August 31, 1905, aged 49 years, 11 months and 25 days, says the Bluffton News. He was a sufferer of Bright's disease for several years, but was confined to his bed only a few days, when he was called to his future abode. The deceased was united in marriage at Fairfield, O., to Miss Lydia Stultzman (sic), March 11, 1883. To this union one son, Clyde, was born. Mr. and Mrs. Ream at first resided in Hancock county, O., and in 1899 moved to Bluffton, where they resided until 1902, when the family moved to the deseased's late home.
Funeral services were held Saturday forenoon at the American Mennonite Chapel, near New Stark, and the remains laid to rest in the Hassan Cemetery, Rev. N. O. Blosser officiating. The deseased was a ember of the American Mennonite church, a kind husband and father and a good neighbor. HE is survived by a wife, son, father, brother, five sisters and a number of relatives and friends. The deseased's father, J. D. Ream, resides at Phoenix, Ariz., and could not be present at the funeral.

Ream, Susan Pore, Roy Ream, Wm. Stewart, Ted Clark, L. Elzay, John Allison, Fred Augsburger, Mrs. Eddinger, Mrs. Swick, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Geiger and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ewing, all of Bluffton.
