Brie was a junior at Southwood High School where she was a member of the student council and the Spanish Club. She was active in Wabash Friends Church youth group, and the leadership team. She worked at the Wabash Carnegie Public Library. She danced in the Wabash Valley Dance Theater for ten years and was involved in Tae Kwondo. She was also active with the Wabash L.I.F.E. Center.
She is survived by her father, C. Randall (Debbie) Curless; her mother, Christine Curless; her brother, Ryan Joseph Curless; her paternal grandparents, Larry D. and Anne Curless; her maternal grandparents, Jerry and Sandy Carter; and her great-grandmother, Mrs. Mary (Charles) Keppel; all of Wabash. She was preceded in death by a very special grandmother, Marilyn Curless.
