Dr. Berry was a veterinarian, graduating from Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn University) in 1941. That same year he married Thelma Caine, to whom he was married forty-five years.
Dr. Berry practiced veterinary medicine in Lebanon, TN, where he and his wife moved in 1944.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lebanon and serviced as church treasurer for many years. He was a former Wilson County Commissioner and a member of Rotary International for almost sixty years. He was a Paul Harris Fellow.
Dr. Berry was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Caine Berry and their daughter, Celia Berry Townsend.
Survived by a son and his wife; a daughter and her husband; two grandsons and two granddaughters.
