Kaye Sheppard Taylor, 74, a loving and devoted mother and grandmother passed away peacefully with her children at her side on Monday, May 19, 2014.

Kaye was born and raised in Fort Worth where she graduated from North Side High School in 1957 and studied Interior Design at Texas Christian University. She held countless beauty queen titles in her early years such as Miss Fort Worth and first runner up in the Miss Texas Pageant.

Kaye was an astute business woman and was blessed to be a success at everything she did. She was a real estate broker for many years and was top listing agent for her company numerous times. She owned her own design firm, The Re-Arrangers and was founder and co-owner with her daughter of Bygones Fine Furniture Consignments for the past twenty-three years. Kaye loved what she did and was pleased to often say that she had furnished some of the finest homes in San Antonio.

She was a teacher by nature. She loved to share her stories of experience and left her mark on everything she did and all those she came in contact with. Kaye had a passion for her home and a tremendous love of her yard. She won numerous yard awards and First Place Christmas decorating awards as well. Although Kaye had many interests and loves in her life, her family meant everything to her. She was so proud of her children and her grandsons. They were always first in her life. Her family is very blessed to have countless memories and a legacy that will live on in each and every one of them.
