Carol E. Beilke, 74, of Sycamore, passed from this life Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Oak Crest DeKalb Area Retirement Center. Born August 12, 1939, in Lorain, Ohio, daughter of Willard and Mildred (Gordon) Dobbeck. She married Richard Beilke on January 7, 1956, in Genoa.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Beilke; daughters, Kathleen (Prakash) Thatte and Kristine (Ross) Oakland; grandchildren, Dr. Todd (Dr. Marissa Cardwell) Oakland and Sara (Brian) Oakland Bates. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Dobbeck.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to the DeKalb County Animal Shelter or S1. John's United Church of Christ in Lorain, Ohio, in care of the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL 60178.
