Federal Census of 1940 lists Joe (28), Helen (27) and Jerry (5) as living in Atchison, KS. Joe is a "Car loader" for occupation.
Joe died at the age of 33 and is buried along side 3 of their children, buried in Nortonville, KS within the Rathert family burials.
