Our beloved "Miss Holt," momma, and granny was called home to be with our Lord on May 19, 2014 as she had a long struggle with her health. She was tired and ready to rest.

Alberta was born August 15, 1932 in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Joseph and Fannie Robinson. She was the last surviving sibling of two sisters and four brothers.

"Momma, you are already greatly missed and loved by many. Our "rock & unsung hero" has moved to the upper room. May you have a peaceful journey."

Alberta is survived by her son, Finis "Butch" Holt; daughter, Trina Alires; and three grandchildren she raised as her own, David (Tisha), Deon, and Maurice (Celina) Yarber; as well as seven other grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Also by a host of special friends whom she cared about dearly. Alberta has been reunited with her son, Dwight "Pinky" and daughter, Coletta Ann Holt.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Salt Lake Nineteenth Ward Chapel, 225 West 500 North, Salt Lake City, where a viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City.
