Eleanor Bradford was the daughter of John Bradford III (c1706-bef1771 MD) and Ann[e] Darnall (bef1712-c1738), daughter of Henry Darnall II Esq. and Anne Digges of Prince George's County, MD. John Bradford III was the son of John Bradford II, styled "Colonel", (c1660-bef May 1726) and Anne Gantt (c1684-bef 1712 MD). Col. John Bradford II was a merchant, planter and land speculator in Prince George's County MD. He died before May 11, 1726, will proved, in MD.
The Bradford family of MD is not related to the William Bradford family, Puritans, of Plymouth Colony, MA.
