Early Life: Richard was born January 22, 1934, in Morgan, Utah, the son of Benjamin Richard and Margaret Baker McKinnon.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: Richard served an LDS mission in the Western States Mission and also served in the United States Navy. In April 1955, he married his eternal companion, Shirley Clark, of Lake Point, Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah in Physics. He served the Lord throughout his life. They enjoyed living in Europe and in many cities across the United States. He took pleasure in sailing, painting, back packing, as well as, a tall, cool glass of buttermilk. Richard and Shirley feel blessed with the gifts of five children, twenty five grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Richard D. McKinnon made the move from mortality on May 17, 2014, from his home in Provo, Utah.
