Adam Keller
Adam Keller, 80, a resident of Davenport for the last 52 years, died at 4 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Powers, 1412 West Sixth street, after an illness of two months. Mr. Keller was a cigarmakers by trade and retired a number of years ago.

He was born Aug. 6, 1851, in Hessen, Darmstadt, Germany, and came to America, direct to Davenport, in 1880. He was a member of St. Joseph's church. He was married in this country, his wife preceding him in death March 7, 1902.

Surviving are one son, Phillip Keller, of Davenport; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Reis and Mrs. Mary Powers, both of Davenport; 20 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Fred N. Ruhl funeral home and will be returned to the home of Mrs. Mary Powers, his daughter, Wednesday noon. The funeral services will be held there at 8:30 a. m. Thursday with services in St. Joseph's church at 9 a. m. The burial will be in Holy Family cemetery.

The Rev. Msgr. George Giglinger will recite the rosary at the home of Mrs. Powers Wednesday at 8 p. m.
