R. Jane Perkins, 81, of Iroquois passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at her home.

Jane was born April 25, 1933 in Iroquois, the daughter of Virgil and Blanche Anderson Baker and they preceded her in death along with one sister, Barbara Obenland.

She married Richard C. Faupel and he preceded her in death on April 26, 1967.

She later married Elmer William Perkins on November 20, 1971 in Iroquois and he survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Daphne (Mike) High of Danville and Cindy (Dean) Shearer of Churubusco, IN; one son, Scott (Karen) Perkins of Danville, IN; five grandchildren, Darcy Geiger, Ryan High, Jason Geiger, Turner Perkins and Claire Perkins; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Swanson of Iroquois.

Mrs. Perkins enjoyed quilting and cats and had a love for birds and wildlife.

Burial will be in Prairie Dell Cemetery in Iroquois.
