Dianne Lou Harrison SLATON-On May 19, 2014, at 6:40 a.m., Dianne Lou Harrison, age 66, passed from this world into God's hands. She grew up in Slaton, Texas, daughter of J.S. Woody' and Louisa Jeanne Underwood. She graduated from Texas Tech University with both her undergraduate degree and her Master's degree and went on to teach second grade at Idalou Elementary where she later retired. Dianne is survived by her husband, Gary Harrison of Wolfforth, Texas; her son, Arthur Hettler and his wife, Jennifer Hettler of Alvord, Texas; her daughter, Mary Booth and her husband, Grant Booth and their son, Graham William Booth, age 2 , of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by her brother, Allen and his wife, Chairmaine Underwood of San Antonio, Texas, and their two daughters, JJ and Robyn, Dianne's nieces. She will live on in the hearts of her many friends and her family. The visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Resthaven Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, in the Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home with interment to follow in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton, Texas.
