William moved to Center Lovell in 1887 when his family moved from Brooklyn.

He married Edith Della McAllister on November 20, 1895 at her parents' home by the Rev. C.L. Baker.

Their children were:
Infant Farrington born in 1899.
Sarah Theona Farrington born July 29, 1900 in Lovell, Maine.
John Moody Farrington born August 24, 1903 in Lovell.

He married Helen Beerbower on July 27, 1926 in Orange County, Florida. They had John W. Farrington born 1928, Mary J. Farrington born about 1930, and J. Peter Farrington born about 1931, all in New Hampshire. John Moody Farrington died on February 14, 1971 in Orange County, Florida. William Henry Farrington, Jr. born March 30, 1906 in Lovell

After the death of wife, Edith, William married Mrs. Avis Fox Stearns of Lovell in that town on December 16, 1931. She is buried in another town cemetery and probably with her first husband.
