Catherine S. Keller, 63, of Morton, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 18, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born March 10, 1951, in Pekin to Cletus B. and Alma L. (Caldwell) Clark. She married Terry L. Keller on April 20, 1974, in Pekin. He preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 2009. She also was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Patricia.
Surviving are two daughters, Jana (Wes) Mayeur and Kimberly Keller, both of Morton; her beloved granddaughter, Lily Mayeur of Morton; one brother, Robert (Lynne) Clark of Morton; her brother-in-law, Leland Morr of Groveland; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Catherine had worked as a floating and registry nurse at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She later worked at a doctor's office in Peoria and then worked as a psychiatric nurse in Missouri.
She attended First Baptist Church of Morton, where she was a volunteer with AWANA and baked cookies for college students.
Catherine loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting and gardening.
Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, May 24, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Morton, with church ministers officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church.
