Evelyn A. Baugniet, age 93, a resident of Kindred Hearts, 5005 Vista Road, Manitowoc, formerly of 2904 41st St., Two Rivers, died peacefully Friday night, March 12, 2010, at Kindred Hearts.

Evelyn was born June 24, 1916, in Two Rivers to the late Charles and Anna (Plohar) Maigatter. She attended Hamilton Grade School in Two Rivers and was a graduate of Washington High School. On July 23, 1938, she married Daniel F. Baugniet in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2004. Evelyn was employed with Kahlenberg Bros. for many years as an office worker. She was a great supporter of the Ladies of Holy Redeemer group, sending baked goods to many of their events. She was currently a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Parish. In addition to baking and cooking, Evelyn enjoyed gardening, sewing and knitting, and playing cards.

She is survived by her three daughters: Marian Sides of Illinois, Gail Baugniet of Hawaii, and Wendy (Edgardo) Nebrija of Florida; and one son: Glen Baugniet of Green
Bay. She is further survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; and a sister-in-law: Lucille Kostka of Two Rivers; nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Daniel; one son: Robert; two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3218 Tannery Road, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Thomas, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Friends may call at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, from 5 until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 7:30 p.m., led by Sister Pat. Visitation will continue Thursday morning at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m.
