He was born Sept. 26, 1909 in Walkita, Okla. He worked as a Mechanic for 27 years for Union Oil. He was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Taft and was a member of Taft Midway Lodge,F. & A.M #426. He is survived by his widow Louise; three sons, Dwane Cranmer, Iven Edward Cranmer Jr.; James Dennis Cranmer; a daughter Phyllis Trampp; 13 grandchildren and four great granddaughters. He is also survived by five brothers, Ira Cranmer; Ernie Cranmer; Russell Cranmer; Burt Cranmer; Dale Cranmer; two sisters Ruth Reneau and Ruby Smith.
