Lloyd was born February 13, 1904 in Pottawotama County, OK to John Henry and Laura Fronie (Maples) Cox. He worked as a Mechanic for Standard Oil Company for 33 years. Lloyd was known in Taft where he walked 5 miles a day until the age of 97. Mr. Cox is survived by his granddaughter Margaret James (Grant) and a host of nieces nephews, cousins, and special friends. He was preceded in death by a son Ernie Cox.
