Life's Work/Service/Interests: Jake served an LDS mission in the Toronto Canada Mission. He also served in the Utah Army National Guard, and later, studied at Brigham Young University and University of Utah. When J.E. was 35 years old, he met the love of his life, Kay; they married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 2, 1972. J.E. worked in several industries and occupations with his last occupation as a printer and business owner. Jake lived a good life, raised five faithful children, left behind a wonderful, loving wife and a legacy of faith. His wife, children and grandchildren were the priority and the greatest source of joy and happiness in his life. J.E. has lived his life as a disciple of Christ. He was the quintessential example of faith. Sweet, loving father, husband and friend, J.E. "Jake" Stewart passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, in Provo, Utah, of natural causes. He was 77 years old.

Survived By: His eternal companion, Kay; his five children: David (Meighan) Stewart, Jonathan Stewart, Amy (Spencer) Clements, Sharlynn (Andrew) Scivally and Katie Stewart; 15 grandchildren; and his sisters: Cozette, Nancy, Sylvia, Lynda, and Kristy.
