Little hope had been entertained for the child's recovery and after over five months of suffering she died Saturday night. Elizabeth Garnek, four-year-old daughter of John and Mary Garnek, of Smallwood, near California, was fatally hurt Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock when struck by an automobile while she was playing along tha roadway near her home She was taken to the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital, where she succumbed about three hours later.
