Found in The State 15 May 1965: Edward F. Hollis, 62, Apt. M-5, Gonzales Gardens, retired construction employee, died Friday morning in Veterans Hospital after an illness of several months. Mr. Hollis was born in Columbia, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hollis. He was a member of Jackson Creek Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jane Small Hollis, three daughters and five sons.

Don Minnich and the Rev. Murray Yarborough. Interment will be in Pineview Baptist Churchyard near Blythewood. Mr. Hollis, of Apt.
