Anna, 92 of Grand Ledge, passed away May 15, 2014 in Lansing, Michigan surrounded by family. She was born to the late Joseph and Lucia (Belsito) Preston.
She was a long time member of St. Michael Catholic Church and choir, St. Cecelia Guild, Grand Ledge Lioness, Sweet Adelines Singing Group and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary/Cole Briggs Post #48. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, gardening, singing and dancing. Anna loved life and was loved by all who knew her. She was one of a kind and had a zest for life matched by none other. Family was everything to her and she was everything to her family.
She is survived by daughters, Margaret "Maggie" (Roger Stair) Olds, Janice "Jan" (Barry) Horne and Patricia "Pat" (Al) Stewart; grandchildren, April, Beth, Chad, Ryan, Nicole, Chris and Tom; great grandchildren, Matthew, Amber, Mitchell, Sophia, Zack, Nick, Emmy, Sam, Jack and Mara; sister, Lavida Cundiff and many nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by husband, Herbert (Red); siblings, Dorothy Sollid, Gina Simmons, Dilly Love and Victor Preston.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by The Reverend Fr. James Eisele Monday, May 19, 2014,
at St. Michael Catholic Church in Grand Ledge.
A vigil was held.
