Marshall N. Graves 82, of Huttig went on to Glory to his Heavenly Father on friday, May 16, 2014.

He was born on October 23, 1931 in Huttig to John Marshall and Berenice Sullivan Graves.

Marshall was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a mechanic by trade. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a devoted Christian and a member of Green Grove Chapel. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and he will be missed by all who loved him. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, one infant son, Lester Eugene Graves and a sister Elsie Faye Crow.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Glenda Perdue Graves, his two sons; Karl Graves (Karen) of Winnfield, La. and Ray Graves (Kim Smelley) of White Oak, Tx, his three daughters; Carla Lane (Travis) of Huttig, Michelle Parker (Mart) of Strong and Sharon Franks (Randy Smith) of Three Creeks and one sister Johnnie Mae Spurlock of Addis, La., eleven grandchildren; Doug, Jonathan, Meagan, Kalynn, Josh, Cody, Jeremy, Shelby, Maranda, Ashley and Melissa, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Green Grove Chapel 2088 Philadelphia Road. Funeral services will be Monday, May 19, 2014 at 2 P.M. at the church with Brothers Rickey Smith and Wendell Miller officiating with burial to follow at Union Cemetery in Sadie, La. Under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.

Pallbearers are his for grand sons; Doug, Jonathan, Jeremy, Shelby, Vernon Sullivan and Tony Perdue.
