Virginia Deither, 64, Broken Bow, OK, Passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Paris, Texas, on Wednesday, August 14, 2002. She was born Sept. 25, 1937, the daughter of John W. and Dimple Clements Stevens.
Virginia and Jim Deither, Sr. were married May 25, 1955, in Hugo, OK. She was a homemaker, a member of the Kiamichi Genealogy Society for the past 10 years and had lived in the community since 1970.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dimple Stevens; by a daughter, Darla Brown; by a son, Danny Deither; and by four brothers and one sister.
Virginia leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, James "Jim" Deither, Sr., of the home; two sons, James Deither, Jr., Broken Bow, OK and Steven Deither of the Lukfata Community; a sister Glenda Stevens, Paris, Texas; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2002, in the Broken Bow Cemetery.
