Mrs. Julia Edna Wade, age 87, of Morrison, TN died Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born May 31, 1926 in Grundy County, TN, was a homemaker and member of Caney Branch The Baptist Church; also she was a former active member of the Jacksboro Community and a long time volunteer in the floral department of the Warren County Fair. She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Eugenia Dykes Teeters, husband T. C. Wade, Jr., brothers Quinton Teeters and Johnny Teeters, sisters Willie Etta Teeters, Molly Teeters, and Betty King, and grandson Lonnie Grant Wade.

Survivors include her daughter Kay (Jim) Davenport of Viola, TN, sons Gordon "Buster" (Evelyn) Wade and Steve (Elaine) Wade of McMinnville, TN, sister Shirley Jessings of Manchester, TN, grandchildren Amy Hopf, Marla Cantrell, Chris Wade, Matthew Davenport, Sebrena Wade, and Trena Wade, and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 4 PM Friday, May 16, 2014 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Chris Anderson and Bro. Leonard Herman will officiate. Interment will follow in Caney Branch Cemetery. The Wade family will receive friends from 6 PM until 9 PM on Thursday and from 10 AM until 4 PM on Friday at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Chattanooga or to the charity of your choice.
