Funeral services for Zona Lou Martin, 91, of Smithville, were held Saturday, November 26,
2005 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Elder Paul Violet and Bro. Shannon Cantrell officiated and burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Martin passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2005 at NHC HealthCare Center in Smithville. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. View Primitive Baptist
Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Odell Martin; parents, George Morgan Young and Pearlie Lou Adcock Young and two sisters: Ona Cantrell and Lona Taylor.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and devoted caregiver, Oleta Bratcher of Smithville.
Serving as pallbearers were Billy Taylor, Gary Taylor, McClure Cantrell, Than Cantrell, Doyce Cantrell and Prentice Cantrell.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel in Smithville was in charge of the arrangements.
