Mrs. Stoehr Is Summoned Today; Rites on Friday
Mrs. Catherine Stoehr, wife of Henry Stoehr, 326 Orchard road, Kohler, passed away this morning at 6 o'clock at St Nicholas hospital following a lingering illness.
On Nov 21, 1892, she was born in Russia. She came to America in 1907, living in New York City until 1915, when she moved to Sheboygan. In 1923 she went to Kohler where she has resided since.
She was married to Henry Stoehr on Feb. 8, 1918. Surviving her are her husband, two sons, Fred of Kohler, and Henry in the United States Army, her mother, Mrs. Henry Bellar, and three sisters and two brothers, all in New York City.
A home-loving wife and mother, Mrs. Stoehr was deeply devoted to her family. She was greatly interested in and enjoyed music.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Robert H Kroos Funeral Home at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon. The Rev. T. Parry Jones of the First Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be made in the Kohler Cemetery.
Friends can call at the funeral home beginning Thursday afternoon.

Last Rites For Mrs. Stoehr Are Held
Funeral Services for Catherine Stoehr, wife of Henry Stoehr, 326 Orchard Rd, Kohler, who died Wednesday, were conducted Friday afternoon, at 3 o'clock at the Robert H Kroos Funeral home.
The Rev. T. Parry Jones, pastor of the First Methodist church officiated and burial was in the Kohler cemetery.
The pallbearers were Albert Daniels, Clarence Naumann, William Woepse, William Clark, Leo A. Salber and Kenny Klein. Mrs. Albert E. Gilbert sang "God Will Take Care of You" and "Lead Kindly Light". She was accompanied by Mrs. Clarence Wiffen.
Surrounding the casket were many floral bouquets, including the following from organizations: Kohler Shell department, Torpedo Tube production, planning and stock room and Pottery finishers' day shift.
