Callie Gabbard, age 91, passed Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY.
Callie was born August 17, 1927 in Booneville, KY, a daughter to the late Charlie and Daisy (Thomas) Marshall. She was a member of the Bee Branch Chapel, and in her spare-time she enjoyed gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by 2 sons; Lonnie Gabbard of Ricetown, KY, and Donnie (Gerrie) Gabbard of Cincinnati, OH, 2 daughters; Judy (Bobby) Gabbard, and Brenda (Rocky) Burns both of Ricetown, KY, 1 brother; Tommy Marshall of South Lebanon, OH, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends.
Along with her parents: Charlie and Daisy Marshall, she was preceded in death by her husband; Hobert Gabbard, 5 brothers; Ernest, Clifford, Bradley, Verlan, and Charlie Marshall Jr., 2 sisters; Cleo Cole, and Evalee Marshall.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home with Pastor William Owens officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Gabbard Family Cemetery, located in the Ricetown Community of Booneville, KY.
