Mrs. BESS MARY HARTLE, widow of Harry E. Hartle, 534 North Mulberry Street, died at Mercy Hospital, Baltimore, Sunday evening, aged 61. Born and reared at Roxbury, Md., she was the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Malott) Barr.
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are: daughters, Mrs. Helen Zite, Baltimore; Mrs. Josephine Kendall, Hagerstown; Miss Betty B. Hartle, Baltimore; son, Harry E., Jr., at home; sisters, Mrs. John Talbert, Funkstown; Mrs. John Burton, Baltimore; Miss Margaret Barr, Hagerstown; brothers, Frank T., Hagerstown; Charles J., Hopkinsville, Kentucky; Joseph, Long Beach, Ca.; Robert, Baltimore, and William Barr, Hagerstown; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Suter Funeral Home; burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
