LANDISBURG - Charles Roy Carbaugh, 76, of RD1 Landisburg, died yesterday at Carlisle Hospital.
He was born in Cumberland County April 6, 1896, the son of the late Edward and Lula Cornman Carbaugh.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Louise VanDinter of Mechanicsburg; a son, Sylvester of Mechanicsburg; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Schmohl of Carlisle, Mrs. Mae Hawk of Harrisburg and Mrs. Blanche Spahr of Etters; a , brother, John of Lemoyne; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 2 Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Gerald D. Kauffman officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Church of God Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tomorrow.
