FARMINGTON -- Fyrne Calkins, 98, of Farmington Country Manor, 71 S. Main St., formerly of Peoria for more than 30 years, died at
9:55 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 1993, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
Born Jan. 26, 1895, in Fulton County to George and Elizabeth Berry Davis, she married Willis Calkins on Nov. 27, 1914, in Canton. He died in 1980 in Peoria. She also was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are one sister, Cleo Elliott of Cuba; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Mausoleum in Canton. The Rev. Delmar Smith will officiate. There will be no visitation. Entombment will be in Greenwood Mausoleum. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
