Possibly Lucy died in Kentucky and haven't found record she married. Possibly died in Glasgow, Barren County before family left Kentucky...The family lived in Kentucky on 1870 census with Lucy. Some time before 1880 the family moved to Missouri where her brother John N Britt was born, 1880 and possibly returned to Kentucky where her sister Mary Ellen Britt was born, 1882. The family eventually left Kentucky again and moved to Harrisburg, Arkansas.
I received an E-mail from C Reagan 7/11/2013 that reads: "There are no pages on Lucy E, Nellie's note indicates Lucy drowned in Kentucky. If I apply your date she would have been 17 when she died and probably did not marry." (Nellie Mae (Biddle) Stanley is the Nellie referred to earlier. Nellie began her family tree in 1940s and in 1990 made a collection of Family Group Sheets...Nellie is grand daughter of Melvina (Britt) Benson who was daughter of Benjamin and Ursula Britt.
NOTE: I'm assuming Nellie had the benefit to speak with several family members that past or other family members that past down information from them. Nellie may have had assess of information provided so many many years ago.
