NOTE: Benjamin Britt and Ursula Ann (Britt) were my Great-great Grandparents. They were parents of my mother's "Granny", Louisa Frances (Britt) Carver. (Per Dorothy Hare Wigginton)

Louisa was the only one of her birth family that remained in Glasgow, Barren County, Kentucky. Her parents, Benjamin and Ursula Britt, with Louisa's siblings left Glasgow in the later 1870s. Went to Missouri where John Nuckles Britt was born in 1880. His parents returned to Kentucky and had Mary Ellen Britt in 1882. They left Kentucky again and settled in Harrisburg, Poinsett County, Arkansas. (Per Dorothy Hare Wigginton)

NOTE: I received an edit on Find A Grave from Gregory Smith (ID 47552627) for Ursula Britt and Benjamin Britt with their death dates....List Ursula: 1 Jan 1911 and Benjamin: 10 Oct 1910...The Family Group Sheet I have made by Nellie Mae (Biddle) Stanley list Ursula's death, 3 Dec 1909 and Benjamin's death, 9 Sep 1909.

NOTE: I have a letter left in my mother's belongings. Mom, Sallie Ann (Reynolds) Hare died in 1977, Louisville Kentucky. The letter belonged to Mom's "Granny" Louisa Frances (Britt) Carver the daughter of Ursula and Benjamin Britt. This letter was written by Mollie (Mason) Britt daughter in law of Ursula and Benjamin Britt...Mollie was Mary Elizabeth Mason, 2nd wife of John Nuckles Britt, son on Ursula and Ben Britt.

The letter is dated June 27, 1909, Harrisburg, Ark., sent to Glasgow, Kentucky..... 2nd page of this letter Mollie gives reference to John's parents. Page 2 reads, " Well Louisa I have been looking for you to come back out here. Well Louisa Melvina said if you wanted to come back and did not have the money she said Mr. Benson would send you the money to come on (this word looks like on) and pay you to stay with her till she got able to do her own work that will be August or September. I guess Mels folks is as well as common.
