Born near Tabor, Bohemia, July 16, 1846; came to America to Yankton in 1881 and lived with her sister,
Mrs. Catherine Hlavac, united in marriage in 1886 to Vaclav Behensky; survived by her husband, daughters Mrs. Frank Barta of Lesterville and Mrs. Frank Cap of near Janousek and one son, Joseph and three sisters in Bohemia.
