Otto J. Funke, 70, of 146 Crest Ave., died unexpectedly at 5:10 a.m. Thursday at his home. He was the husband of Elizabeth M. Mooney Funke. He was owner and operator of Lancaster Clock and Display Co. and Funke's Neon Tubes since 1945. The businesses were located at his residence. Born in Arth, Switzerland, he was a son of the late Adam and Josephine Sterneman Funke. In addition to his widow, at home, he is survived by four children, Otto J. Funk Jr., Lancaster; Elizabeth J., wife of Leon J. Duschl, Wilmington, Del.; James A. Funke, Allentown, and Richard T. Funke, New Holland; 12 grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Rose Zook; Lillian, wife of Luther Storm and Mrs. Norma Zook, all of Lancaster. (Intelligencer Journal - Mar 15, 1974)
