Mrs. Ann Davis Graves, age 66, of Lyons, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at her home after an extended illness. She was lifelong resident of Toombs County and was Baptist by faith. She was Toombs County State Court administrative assistant for the past sixteen years, and previously was administrative assistant at Oxford Industries for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward "Toot" Davis and Marjorie Farmer Davis.


Mrs. Graves is survived by one son, Brett Youmans of Vidalia; one grandson, Layton Youmans of Lyons; two brothers, Wayne Davis and wife Shirley of Vidalia, and Keith Davis and wife Gina of Lyons; one sister, Jean Peterson and husband Darryl of Alston; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.


The graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, May 10th at 11:00 a.m. in Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Pastor John D. Griffin officiating.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5:00 until 8:00.
