Agnes L. Kato, 94, of Baden, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014, in Villa St. Joseph.

Born October 16, 1919, in Duquesne, a daughter of the late Andrew and Suzanna Lajos, she was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers, Baden American Legion and the former Baden Knights.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Kato Sr., in 1977.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, William M. Kato Jr., Baden, and Stephen and Deborah Kato, Chippewa Twp.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Ardell and Lou Frolo, Ambridge; Mary Louise and John Machado, North Versailles; Rosemary and John Palladini, Baden, and Carol A. and Charles Andoga, Baden; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Fran Lewis, Monroeville; a sister and brother-in-law, Marge and George Fotovich, Port Charlotte, FL; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Monday at 11 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Baden.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank Villa St. Joseph for the care and compassion they gave our mother.
