T. Bennett Wilt, 85, of Curwerisville R.D. (Pike Township) died in the Clearfield Hospital at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 1967.
He was born at Patton, October 26, 1881, a son of Everistis and Matilda (Kline) Bennett. He was a member of the Rescue Hose and Ladder Company of Curwensville and the Grampian American Legion.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters:
Mrs. Lloyd (Janey) Gray, Weedville; Mrs. Marvel (Laura) Hawk, Curwensville R.D.; Mrs. Albert (Violet) Lord, Curwensville R.D.; Mrs. Henry (Edith) Shaffer, Mount Union; Robert Wilt, Bradford; Russell Wilt, Curwensville; James Wilt, Bradford; Morrell Wilt, Bradford; and Marvel Wilt, Curwensville.
He also leaves a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, thr former Viola Bressler who died in 1962; one son, two brothers and six sisters.
