OBITUARY--

Mrs. Desma V. Sims - Texas City -
Mrs. Desma V. Sims, 71, of 813 Bay St. in Texas City, died at 2 p.m. Friday at Galveston Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Emken-Linton Funeral Home with Dr. J. Dalton Harvard officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park East in League City. Mrs. Sims was born Feb. 15, 1905 in Belle, MO. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Texas City. Survivors include two sons, Leon L. Vogtman of Houston and [Living] of Texas City; a daughter, Mrs. [Living] of Texas City; a brother, M.J. Eells of Nevis, Minn.; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
