Rosemarie Ledbetter Nix, 73, Clarksville, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Woodall Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born April 19, 1931, in Cunningham, daughter of Joseph Washington Ledbetter and Ruby Idella Buchanan Ledbetter. She was the widow of Richard Rolland Nix. She was preceded in death by a son, George David Nix.

Mrs. Nix was a retired LPN from General Care Convalescent Center, a foster grandparent, member of Family Community Educators and a Baptist.

Survivors include three sons, Jasper Eugene Nix, Wichita Falls, Texas, Charles Richard Nix, Dover, and Joseph Benjamin Nix, Indian Mound; six daughters, Alice Grose, Angie Deppeler, Lillian Marie Gibbs and Robin Riggins, all of Clarksville, Lucy Idella Nix Killebrew, Indian Mound, and Amy Rose Oakes, Florence, S.C.; a brother, Charles Ledbetter, Goodlettsville; 29 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
