George Hardesty Chadd, 74 of Nevada, died at 12:35 am. Saturday at Nevada Regional Medical Center. He was born May 14,1917 at Sheldon Mo. He was a retired automobile and tractor mechanic.
Preceding him in death was his wife, the former Ruby Richardson, in 1960.
Surviving are 3 sons: Dale H Chadd, Oseola, Dennis R Chadd, El Dorado Springs, and David L. Chadd, Sheldon, Mo.
Three brothers, Carl Chadd, Jasper, Mo., John Chadd, Milo, and Donald Chadd, Nevada, Mo. and two sisters, Anna Louise Karr, Sheldon Mo., and Margie Starlin, state of Florida. Also seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren survive.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Welborn Cemetery near Moundville with Reverent John Nichols officiating.
