OWENTON โ Atmore Abrams, 87, widower to Doris Luttrell Abrams, passed away Saturday Dec. 8, 2012 at his home. He was born March 4, 1925 in Owen County Kentucky to the late Franklin Wolf and Hallie Bramlett Abrams. He was a farmer, a former heavy equipment operator, a member of Monterey Masonic Lodge and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Gary (Elizabeth) Abrams of Lexington, Kenny (Peggy) Abrams of Frankfort; four grandchildren, Kim Murray and Jeff Abrams of Frankfort, Gary Dean Abrams of Winchester, Lisa Lackey of Lexington; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec.12, 2012 at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery with pallbearers being Gary Dean Abrams, Jeff Abrams, Donnie Abrams, Lynn Abrams, Troy Abrams and Bige Hundley. Honorary bearers will be Bethany Abrams, Anthony and Kimberly Murray, Elizabeth J. Abrams, Lisa Lackey, Rick and Barbara Stokley, Cindy Adams and Harold and Betty Tate. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to Harmony Baptist Church, 1860 Harmony Road, Owenton, KY 40359.
